The culmination of the academic year often feels strange and subdued.
Throughout most of the year, we’re taken on a long and tumultuous ride, filled with unexpected and sometimes painful twists and turns.
As the year draws to a close, it’s like we’re slowly lifted up to the top of a rollercoaster, anticipating an exhilarating drop before a final frenzied dash down the tracks.
But just as we reach the pinnacle of our ascent, everything comes to a halt.
The safety bars lift and we all exit the ride quietly. And in just two and a half months, we’ll be back in line to experience it all over again.
